The episode of Kundali Bhagya begins with the judge asking Monisha to come in the witness box. Monisha says she is engaged to Karan and Rithwik was her good friend. She frames the entire family. She says that Rishabh hired a goon to kill Rithwik. Karan gets angry at Monisha. He tells the judge that Monisha is lying but in vain. Karan goes to attack Monisha. The judge orders for Karan's arrest the arrest. The judge adjourns the hearing for the day.

Prithvi is happy that both brothers are in trouble. Preeta tells Monisha that she did wrong. She accuses Monisha of supporting the cruel people. Preeta tells Monisha that she is feeling bad for Rithwik that he fell in love with a wrong girl. Rishabh shouts at Karan for being so rude. Karan says that Rishabh has ruined the case. Rishabh asks Karan to handle everything calmly. Karan gets emotional and breaks down. He tells Rishabh how he cannot live without him and promises to expose the culprit soon. Bhagya written update, January 14, 2019: Monisha decides to not support Rishabh.

Prithvi celebrates his victory over the Luthras.  Sherlyn tries to stop Prithvi from overdrinking. Preeta and Srishty are worried about Karan and Rishabh. Rakhi shouts at her husband and blames him for putting her son's in trouble.  Preeta and Srishty come to Rakhi to try and pacify her. Rakhi asks Mahesh to get both her sons back home. Preeta hugs her.
