The episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai begins with Naira and Kartik going to the hotel room. Anmol and Mansi open the door and are shocked to see Naira and Kartik. They scold Anmol and Mansi. Suddenly the police arrive and they realize that all the four could be in trouble.

Naira and Kartik act like they are fighting. They convince the police that the two are a couple and are fighting like any other husband and wife. The police's attention gets diverted and the two keep arguing. Anmol and Mansi manage to escape. Swarna tries to calm Surekha and Suhasini. Surekha cries for Mansi.

They see Mansi and let out a sigh of relief. Surekha hugs Mansi and promises her to get her married to Anmol. Everybody gets shocked. Kartik tries consoling Surekha. Nandini refuses to accept Anmol and Mansi's relationship. She refuses to let them get married. Naira tries convincing but in vain.
