The latest episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai begins with Naira seeing Kartik going away. Luv and Kush are sad to see the family coming back without Naira. Manish blames Swarna for the same. Kartik says that the divorce was his decision and asks everyone to stop blaming Swarna. Kirti then talks to Devyaani and Bhabhimaa about the divorce.

The next morning, Kartik tells the family that he wants to return back to his old cheerful self. Swarna is happy to see him. Naira tries to change her mood and be happy. Kartik remembers Naira and finds it hard to stay away from her. Naira feels the same.

Kartik comes to know of Manish's investment in Naksh's business. Kartik decides to invest more money and Naksh thanks him. Naitik overhears Naksh talking about his financial troubles and asks him about the same. Naksh says that he had to ask for help from outside as Naitik was never there for him. Naira also overhears this and decides to relocate to Udaipur for her family's sake; Naksh becomes happy.

Kartik gets a surprise visit from his sister Mansi. She asks him about Naira. Kartik tells her about the divorce, and she is shocked.
