The episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai begins with Naira and Kartik walking back home and they come across Kittu. She tells them how she reconciled with her best friend. Kartik and Naira think about their own relationship.

Further, Swarna leaves for Mumbai and directly reaches Kartik's college. The students talk of Kartik and Naira's bonding. Their tease Naira and Kartik get annoyed. They go to the classroom and prepare for the test. Kartik messages Naira and suddenly calls out her name.

Everybody looks on. Naira's friend is shocked to know that Naira hid the fact that she was dating Kartik from her too. Swarna reaches the college and overhears the students gossiping about Kartik. She wonders who his girlfriend is. The Dean asks her to ignore the conversation. Meanwhile, she calls up Manish and informs him of her surprise Mumbai visit. Manish gets shocked.

Kartik asks Naira to treat her sounds so that can dance again. Naitik asks Naira to tell Kartik the reason behind her injury. Swarna asks the Dean about Kartik but he says that Kartik is busy with work. He makes feel comfortable in his office. He asks her about the family function and how Kirti and Naksh's anniversary was. Swarna gets shocked to learn of it.
