The episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai begins with Naira getting a taxi while Kartik leaves in his car.

The Dean greets Kartik and wants to talk to him about the college. Kartik waits for Naira to reach college. She gets stuck outside the gate as the guard doesn't let her enter without the ID card. Naitik arrives in time to give her the card. Kartik decides to teach Naira a lesson for coming late to class. Naitik gives the ID card to Naira and decides to drink some juice when he sees Kartik in the college. He faints and the students help him.

Kartik asks Naira a question and she surprises him with the correct answer. Naira gets a message informing her about Naitik's condition. She rushes home.

Naira asks Naitik if he is okay.

Surekha, Swarna, and everyone come back home. Surekha feels angry as Suhasini ruined her plans. Surekha says the family has fallen apart as Kartik and Naira are not there and Suhasini too left the house.

Manish suggests them to talk to Kirti about the family issues. Swarna calls Kirti and then tells her that Kartik is fine in Mumbai. Kirti feels bad as Swarna only talks about Kartik. Manish asks Swarna to love both Kartik and Kirti equally.

Kartik speaks to the Dean about Naira rushing out of class and demands a disciplinary action to be put up against her. Kartik scolds Naira over the phone and asks her to not attend his class for the entire session and Naira obeys.

Kartik returns home when Kittu narrates the whole incident and then he comes to know of Naitik's health.
