The episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai begins with Naira asking Kartik to check if somebody was in the room. Kartik switches on the lights on doesn't see anyone. He consoles Naira saying that she was just stressed out.

Naira and Swarna serve breakfast to everyone. Kabeer goes to call Shubham for breakfast and gives him a high dosed medicine. Kabir and Naira greet each other. Kabeer tells that Shubham is still unwell and that they should let him rest. Naksh and Bhabhimaa are shocked to see Naitik and Kirti playing video games leaving their sleep aside.

Swarna thanks Kabir for helping Shubham in his difficult time. Naira tries to cheer everybody. Kartik and Naira hold hands and Kabir gets angry. Kartik notices an injury mark on Kabir's hand and asks him about it. Kabir hides the truth of how he cut his hand to write a love letter for Naira. He says that Shubham tried to hit him in a fit of anger. Swarna apologizes on Shubham's behalf.

Naira attends Kabir's wounds and he starts daydreaming about her and says that he loves her. Naira asks Kartik to go to the police station with Manish and Shubham. Kabir says that he will get Shubham ready and asks her to get some food for Shubham. Luv and Kush give Naira a letter to read.

She opens the letter and gets shocked. Kartik and the rest of the family ask her what happened. She tells them that somebody letter is written in blood.  Everybody gets shocked.
