The last episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai begins with Naira bringing Suhana downstairs. Suhana comes down and informs the family that Shubham and her are in love with each other. She adds that she had come to the Goenka house on her own and had run away from her brother who wanted her to marry someone else against her will. Rahul gets angry at Suhana and blames Shubham for fooling her.
He says that he would file a complaint against Shubham for kidnapping Suhana. Manish says that he is not scared of such blackmailing and he goes ahead to call the police. Suhana panics and asks Manish not to call the police, fearing the family's reputation. Naira finds something fishy in Suhana's behaviour. She asks Suhana why what scares her about Manish calling the police. Suhana says that she's just worried about the family’s reputation. In spite of that, Manish calls them and later an Inspector makes his way to the Goenka’s house.

Suhana rethink and is scared if the police would recognize Rahul and her for who they were – scammers! If the police find out, they will be arrested as they have had a long history of scamming people for money. Later, Suhana suddenly applied colour on Rahul's face and he returns the gesture so that police is unable to recognize them. Rahul suddenly changes his unruly behaviour and turns into a sweet boy and seeks forgiveness from Manish and family. He says that he was just angry at Shubham and Suhana for their behaviour but he has realized his mistake on seeing Suhana so worried for the family.
Manish asks Rahul to take Suhana home. Shubham tells Manish that Swarna was in support of him. Manish is surprised to know that Swarna already knew the truth and hid from him. He says that she proved that Shubham is only her son and not his. Swarna tries to prove her innocence but Manish was already angry at her. Kartik asks Swarna to calm down and says that he would convince Manish.
Dadi and Rajshri drink the juice brought by Devyani to make them feel better of their Bhang overdose. On regaining their senses, both Suhasini and Rajshri see the video of them doing the Naagin dance which Luv had shot. Both of them feel extremely embarrassed and Rajshri says she wants to leave Singhania’s house. Suhasini feels extremely embarrassed while Rajshri is inconsolable thinking of her weird behaviour at the Holi party. Kartik and Naira tell Suhasini of how Shubham and Suhana created a scene at the Holi party. She is shocked to know about the scenario. Suddenly, Naira gets unconscious and falls to the ground. Meanwhile, Kirti and Naksh who are trying to persuade Rajshri to come out of the car, fail to do so and Kirti somehow is unconscious and collapses.
