Finally critics set themselves free from 'Fifty Shades Freed'

Author E.L James almost made a revolution in pop-culture with her erotica trilogy better known as the Fifty Shades series. The literary version was then made in to feature film in 2015 with its first instalment of the trilogy called 'Fifty Shades of Grey'. And as was expected, the film worked wonders, not with critics though. The next, 'Fifty Shades Darker' with all its "kinky f***ery" almost delighted its audiences, though they knew something was missing and the chemistry was disappearing.

The final installation of the trilogy, 'Fifty Shades Free'  has made its way to the silver screens. Though it has not gone down well the critics, again! Mostly (almost all, literally!) critics have seemed to unleash all of their thoughts into words, irrespective of its boundaries and formalities. In fact, in no-time since its release, the movie has already garnered a successful 14% on RottenTomatotoes.com

Film Critic Jordan Hoffman of the Vanity Fair wrote, "This final film ties (handcuffs?) everything up nicely, but it certainly is the weakest of the three; it lacks the shock of the first and bona fide insanity of the second. But for an enterprise so suspect (remember, this all spawned from Twilight fan fiction), it nevertheless leaves its mark. I went into this trilogy with my safe word ready, but I never had to use it."

Jordan Mintzer of the Hollywood Reporter has quite some investment ideas of the very famous Mr.Grey as he says, "Johnson and Dornan do their best with the material as well, and, at least for the former’s sake, Ana Steele has a minimal sense of humour and a bit of life to her. Christian Grey, on the other hand, is such a bore that Dornan seems to be doubling down on the stiffness and gives his line readings like he’s reciting from a teleprompter. For a man who can buy anything he wants, including the woman of his dreams, Grey should maybe try investing in a personality."

Justin Chang of Los Angeles Times seems to have found comedy through his tragedy; he says, "It's hard not to giggle at the "Fifty Shades" movies, and I say that with as much admiration as exasperation. These are pictures that generously invite your laughter with their Architectural Digest trappings, their soapy excesses and their all-too-keen awareness of their own vapidity. There's also the fact that it's funny, if also a bit nervous-making, to see two gorgeous people enacting an underlighted, over-edited, meticulously choreographed, none-too-convincing pantomime of carnal ecstasy."

Now that we've read enough about the acting and plot, let's just give Rolling Stones an award for its ratings of this movie: "At this point, Johnson and Dornan can't even go through the motions of spank-pant-rinse-repeat with any conviction. They look as bored as we are. Back in 2015, we generously awarded Fifty Shades of Grey a one-star rating. For the sequel, we cut that down to half a star. With this last entry, we have officially hit the bottom of the barrel. Whips, chains, butt plugs and nipple clips are nothing compared to the sheer torture of watching this movie."

Well, is it safe to consider that we're saved that the film was banned here (even though the reasons make zero sense!).
