Coachella 2018 Headliners: Beyoncé, Eminem and The Weeknd to perform this year

Coachella, which has turned into one of the world’s most lucrative and influential festivals since its debut in 1999, takes place in the desert of southern California over two successive weekends in April with identical lineups for each.

It’s less than a week into 2018 and we’re already blessed with a good news. That’s right! Queen Bey is all set to perform at this year’s Coachella. Beyoncé who was expected to perform last year canceled her show after doctors advised her not to perform so late in her pregnancy with Sir Carter and Rumi. Well, looks like the Queen is gonna keep her promise and return to set the stage on fire… and in the process, our hearts as well.

2018 will also mark the first performance by rapper Eminem. The rapper recently released his 9th studio album ‘Revival’ which takes a more political and redemptive route. He shared a track with Beyonce called ‘Walk on Water’ which opens with the rhetorical question, "Why are expectations so high?” Needless to say, Slim Shady’s flaming hot takes on life and his neurotic edge that tackles from police brutality or “booty that’s heavy duty like diarrhea”, Eminem is gonna pull no punches.

The Weeknd, the Toronto R&B singer whose profile has quickly grown in the past few years with hits such as “Can’t Feel My Face” and “I Feel It Coming,” has performed previously at Coachella in 2012 but never as a headliner. And that’s about to change in 2018.  With his recent unprecedented success, the Starboy sure knows how to keep his fan coming.

The line-up of artistes comprises several other talents, including Vince Staples, Migos, Post Malone, Cardi B,  David Byrne, Kygo, Chromeo and ODESZA, among many others.
