Aamir Ali is winning hearts with his portrayal of a cop in the recently released web series, The Trial. He plays the role of Pradeep. The Tria also stars Kajol, Jisshu Sengupta, Kubbra Sait, Sheeba Chadha and Alyy Khan among others.

In an exclusive interview with PeepingMoon, Aamir spoke about working with Kajol in the series. He told, "Kajol is OG and a super fun human. I got along well with her on the first day itself all because of the vibe Suparn Varma (director) created on the sets. She's simply superb. I've looked up to her as an actor and after working on The Trial, I thought she's a lovely human being and a sweetheart."

Sharing some anecdotes from the sets, he said, It is always fun when someone like Suparn directs the show. I don't remember having so much fun while working on a serious show. He was having a blast and made us comfortable too. After wrapping the show, Kajol ma'am, Kubbra, I and the entire team were singing songs and enjoying ourselves."

When asked whether he witnessed a court trial in life, Aamir shared, "I have witnessed a court trial for a weird reason. It was in the North and it happens very fast. Before you realise, it is already done."
