Remember, PeepingMoon.com brought you the story first in January of those talented and attractive young actors Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt getting to know each other while doing a recce for Brahmastra in Israel last December… and then falling in love? They were meant to happen, we said then, but they took their time getting there. We were proved right and the whole of 2018 has belonged to them. Bollywood marriages happened fast and furious. But the tender love story of the year with violins playing in the background was the Alia-Ranbir one.

It’s that time of the year again. And holiday season is here. Vacations are being planned. Films are being wrapped or released. And everybody is packing their bags and getting ready to take a deserving break from Bollywood until the New Year comes around. Naturally, our curiosity is aroused. Where will Ranbir be romancing Alia when 2019 comes tiptoeing in on the night of December 31? When this year began, they were both single and nursing broken relationships. And then they found each other and rang in the New Year joyously.
This New Year, too, Alia and Ranbir are going to be together. And closer than before. But it’s going to be a bittersweet holiday for the young couple for the destination they have chosen to spend the Christmas-New Year week is New York City. There’s a reason behind this. Ranbir’s father, the veteran actor Rishi Kapoor, is in New York being treated for a serious, undisclosed ailment for the past few months. And while wife Neetu is around Rishi 24/7 at the Sloan Kettering Hospital where he is admitted, Ranbir is naturally anxious to be around his father too. So, Alia and he will be joining Rishi and Neetu is New York for the holidays! It could not get better, ho-ho-ho!
