Rohit Shetty's Singham-Simmba crossover project is actually the climax scene of Simmba?

Since last few months, there is a rumour doing rounds in media that Rohit Shetty is planning a Singham-Simmba crossover project. The reports were saying that Shetty wants to establish Simmba's character first with a standalone Ranveer Singh movie and then plans to make a buddy cop movie that will have both Ajay Devgn's Singham and Ranveer's Simmba characters dealing with evils. However, if a source close to the project is to be believed, no such film is happening at this time.

PeepingMoon.com has learnt that the Singham-Simmba crossover project that is making noise among fanbase is not a different film altogether but actually the climax scene of Simmba where Ajay Devgn will be making a special entry. The source revealed to us that Devgn is playing a special role in this cop drama and not just a cameo as claimed by tabloids. "Ajay sir will be in Simmba for around 15 minutes. He comes as Singham and helps Ranveer's character of Bhalerao. He will basically be there in the entire climax sequence which will see Singham fighting with Simmba against the villain, Sonu Sood."

"Ajay sir has flown to Singapore for a family gateway. Once he returns to the city, he will complete the shooting for Total Dhamaal as well as the remaining portions of Akiv Ali's romcom. After wrapping up both these movies, he will shoot for Rohit Shetty's film for around 10 days in August before diving into his dream project, Taanaji in September," the source added.

Our another source, however, hints at the possibility of the Singham-Simmba crossover project. "Rohit is definitely planning it but it's just in its incipient stage right now. It might happen only if Simmba is a big success."

The shooting for Simmba that stars Ranveer Singh, Sara Ali Khan and Sonu Sood in leads kicked off on Tuesday at Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad. The movie is said to be a complete masala entertainer and even bigger, better and wackier than Rohit Shetty's popular cop franchise, Singham. The film produced by Shetty and Karan Johar is scheduled to release on December 28, 2018.
