One of the saddest stories of 2017 is that, this time, the Alia Bhatt-Siddharth Malhotra break-up is final. The two actors who burst into Bollywood with Karan Johar’s Student of The Year in 2012 are no longer B-Town’s ‘IT’ couple. According to PeepingMoon.com sources, Alia Bhatt left for Indonesia with her girlie gang to celebrate the New Year. While their travel plans are hush-hush at the moment, they won’t be visiting Bali, that’s for sure. Indonesia has plenty more to offer the traveler and holiday-seeker than Bali. As for Siddharth, he’s doing more or less the same thing. Sid’s ganging up with a group of school and college buddies and going to Sri Lanka for the New Year. Like Indonesia, the Emerald Island nation too has plenty of attractions for a guy gang seeking adventure.

So this time the news is true, Alia and Siddharth are single again. And, perhaps still nursing wounds from their recent parting of ways, the two actors are not yet seeing anybody currently. So dismiss memories of them together at Diwali and Christmas parties, at Shah Rukh Khan’s birthday bash in Alibaug, and at film screenings.

Those circumstances are unavoidable. The actors remain civil with one another in social circles if they can’t ignore each other. “It’s sad,” a source close to both actors since their debut in Student of The Year told PeepingMoon.com, “but they were a lovely couple and even though they never went public with their relationship like some other stars have, Alia and Sid were an item – you could see that.”
