Peeping Moon.com is in the envious position to tell you where these three hot, young Bollywood debutantes are making, well, their Diwali party debuts this year before they make their much-anticipated first appearances on screen.
We’re talking of Sara Ali Khan, Jhanvi Kapoor and Ananya Pandey.
All three Internet sensations are high-on-demand when party lists are being drawn up these days and a mad race is on to whose Diwali party will be the first each of these fatakris burst into explosively before making starry appearances at any others.
Setting the ball rolling and staking her claim to be the first Bollywood kid off the block with a film (her debut Kedarnath with Sushant Singh Rajput is under shooting currently) and Diwali show stopper appearance is Sara Ali Khan.
The hip and happening 22-year-old daughter of Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh is stepping out in haute couture to the Diwali party tonight that Bollywood designers Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla are throwing for the young and old of the film industry and friends from outside the fraternity. No prizes for guessing what Sara will be dressed in. You cannot go to an Abu-Jani party and wear some other couturier’s ensemble. Not somebody with Sara Ali Khan’s upbringing.
Jhanvi Kapoor, on the other hand, has apparently chosen to make her splash at Shilpa Shetty’s casino party on October 19th dressed in a Manish Malhotra outfit. She will perhaps be accompanied by Papa Boney Kapoor and Mama Sridevi.
Sridevi has already said what joy as a mother she experiences each time she makes an appearance at a social soiree accompanied by her growing daughters. Which might be a bit of a drag because with Sridevi looking like a boxful of Diwali crackers and bombs herself even now, the mother might just out sizzle the daughter in the popularity stakes. In which case, Jhanvi’s Diwali party debut will not go off with a bang as anticipated.
Ananya Pandey, on the other hand, has chosen to make her Diwali party debut at the “For Young Only” bash that Sonam Kapoor has also planned on the 19th. The daughter of Chunky and Bhavana Pandey with the big soulful eyes and long flowing tresses at 18 might just be Sonam’s youngest guest. She too will be wearing a Manish Malhotra dress.
Of her, Farah Khan had wickedly said that she couldn’t believe Ananya was Chunky’s daughter. “Do a DNA test, please,” Farah had added on Twitter tongue-in-cheek.
Bollywood’s party animals will be waiting to see if Ananya lets her hair down and behaves like Papa does after he has put a couple down himself!
