Just before he flew to Dubai on Friday for next month’s IPL 2020 that is being staged in the UAE, Royal Challengers Bangalore skipper Virat Kohli reportedly
shot an ad for a Bangalore-based Indian e-commerce company at his Worli home. Nothing unusual about that. Except that in this instance, the cameraperson behind this shoot was Virat’s gorgeous Bollywood actress and filmmaker wife Anushka Sharma!
Virushka, as Virat and Anushka are popularly known in film and cricket circles, live in a luxurious 7,171 square feet luxurious apartment on the 35th floor of the apartment Omkar 1973. And it is here that Anushka using a professional camera shot the stills featuring Virat for the e-commerce company. PeepingMoon.com sources say that Anushka was closely directed how to take the images over the phone by photographer and director Colston Julian.

Colston, who has shot several prestigious ad campaigns with Bollywood stars, was originally meant to photograph Virat for this brand. But the Team India and RCB captain was reluctant to breach social distancing norms just when he had a major tournament coming up. And so Virat, who self-quarantined and tested himself before leaving for Dubai, sought the assistance of wife Anushka who is familiar with cameras, lights and angles.
One day before the campaign was shot, Colston came to Virushka’s residence to organize the set and place the cameras and lights. Next day, over a video call, he guided Anushka on how to take the pictures. And the day after that, Virat took an exclusive charter aircraft to Dubai. The swashbuckling cricket superstar reportedly wants to maintain social distance and preferred to travel alone. Virat endorses brands like Audi, Flipkart, Google, Hero MotoCorp, Puma, Uber and Valvoline.
