And we are proud to be the first to bring it to you. There’s buzz among a select set of Bollywood celebs that Kareena Kapoor Khan, who in December gave us Good Newwz in Karan Johar’s family comedy about two couples struggling to have a baby, is expecting! And hers and Saif Ali Khan’s will probably be the first baby conceived during the Covid-19 lockdown!

Only, and only, Kareena’s immediate family and inner circle of B-Town friends are privy to this slice of good, exciting, proud, sweet, happy and sensational news. The actress, who is mother to Bollywood’s celeb tot Taimur, is reportedly getting ready to finish Laal Singh Chaddha before the baby bump shows. The film, a comedy drama that is Aamir Khan’s adaptation of Tom Hanks’s 1994 Hollywood classic Forrest Gump, is directed by Advait Chandan. Kareena plays a pivotal role. Aamir is in Turkey to see if Laal Singh Chaddha might be completed there given that shooting in India is difficult right now.

Kareena, who is celebrating two decades in Bollywood this year, will be 40 in September. The actress, whose Angrezi Medium with Irrfan Khan and Radhika Madan was the last big release before Covid-19, made her debut in 2000 opposite Abhishek Bachchan in Refugee.

All during the lockdown, Kareena kept her millions of fans entertained with happy and amusing pictures taken at home with hubby Saif and son Taimur. It is such a coincidence that she made Good Newwz last year opposite Akshay Kumar in which she plays an anxious wife struggling to have a baby.
