PeepingMoon Exclusive Rohit Shetty’s ‘KKK10’ finale to be shot in Mumbai and promoted before ‘Sooryavanshi’ release?

If the worst hit in Bollywood by the Covid-19 lockdown was the release of Rohit Shetty’s promising cop drama Sooryavanshi, then in Tellyland it is the filmmaker’s exciting reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi 10.

Colors premiered it with great fanfare soon as Salman Khan’s Bigg Boss 13 ended early in the year. Then pulled it off after four episodes despite having more in the can because it didn’t want viewers to lose connect during the lockdown.

Now PeepingMoon.com has learned that the KKK10 finale has yet to be shot. It was to be done in Bangkok (not Bulgaria) along with a few pending episodes in March with Rohit, crew and contestants flying down there. Air tickets, activities and accommodation were planned. Till universal lockdown was announced.

It is believed the KKK10 team wanted to shoot in Ramoji Film City at Hyderabad next but the studio turned it down since the number of people on the set would be more than that permitted by the Telangana government.

Now, PeepingMoon.com has learned that the KKK10 finale will be shot in Mumbai since the Maharashtra government has permitted shooting with limited people and its entire team is here. The team will shoot with different contestants at different schedules in Film City from the first week of July.

There’s also the likelihood of the star cast of Sooryavanshi including Akshay Kumar, Katrina Kaif, Ajay Devgn and Ranveer Singh promoting the finale of KKK10 just a week before the film’s release.
