Miss World 2017 Manushi Chhillar is all set to make her Bollywood debut. However, she is not going to share screen space with Ranveer Singh with whom she did a popular advertisement but will be seen opposite Akshay Kumar. PeepingMoon.com has learned that Manushi has bagged the role opposite Akshay in his ambitious project, Prithviraj Chauhan biopic. Manushi will play his wife Samyukta in the film and has already started prepping for the role.

A source close to the development of the film told PeepingMoon.com that other than Manushi, there will be one other actress in the film and the hunt for her is still on. It remains to be seen whether the other female lead will be another debutante or an established actress. Meanwhile, Manushi is undergoing all the prep needed to essay the regal role.

The biopic is expected to go on floors towards the second half of the year. Chandraprakash Dwivedi of television series Chanakya fame is directing the historical drama which is being produced by Yash Raj Films.

Apparently, YRF’s talent arm has also got Manushi under their wing and is promoting her under their banner.
