Is Akshay Kumar itching to get back into action? It looks like. The Bollywood superstar, whose first 2019 release will be Kesari on March 21, appears to be preparing to get back into Khiladi mode. To start with, the actor in his avatar as IPS officer Veer Sooryavanshi from Rohit Shetty’s cop drama Sooryavanshi that is slated for release on Eid 2020 (Salman Khan, beware) burst out of morning newspapers in a dynamic full page ad. The film is described as coming from the “Universe of Singham and Simmba” and Akshay will be playing an Anti-Terrorist Squad cop in this action drama. Buzz is that this superstar is Akshay and the reason why Turf Club has been chosen for the announcement is because it is at the Mahalaxmi Racecourse and the actor plans to make a spectacular entry by performing a never-seen-before stunt for the media. When it’s Akshay Kumar then even a stage as large as the racecourse can be small for one of his stunts!
