TV actress Chandrika Saha’s husband booked for banging their 15-month-old son’s head on the floor thrice

Television actress Chandrika Saha, who is known for her work in shows like Adaalat, CID and Savdhaan India: Crime Alert has filed a report against her husband Aman Mishra for misbehaving with their 15-month-old son. Apparently, 21-year-old Aman banged the child against the floor thrice. Reportedly, the actress shared that Aman was not happy with the birth of their child. As per reports, Chandrika saw the baby crying and had injury marks on his body. Upon seeing the CCTV footage she found out that her husband had banged the child on the floor thrice resulting in the injury marks.

After admitting the baby to a private hospital in Malad West, Mumbai, Chandrika approached the Bangur Nagar police station with the CCTV recordings to lodge a complaint against her husband. As per police, the 31-year-old actress mentioned in the complaint that she was in the kitchen when she heard her son crying, she asked Aman to take care of him and he took the infant to his bedroom. But after a while, Chandrika heard her son crying again and heard a loud thud. When she rushed in, she found the infant lying on the floor injured.

She told the police that her husband was not happy with the birth of the child. She was a divorcee and had met Aman Mishra, a trader by profession in 2020 and had an affair with him. When Aman found out that Chandrika was pregnant, he suggested an abortion but the doctors advised against it and hence they kept the baby. However, they often fought over this and last month, they got married when their son was 14-months-old.

A police complaint was filed under 75 of the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2015 for assaulting a child in one’s custody. The police are investigating the case and examining the CCTV recordings.
