Mumbai Police registers FIR against director Ali Abbas Zafar and ‘Tandav’ makers for allegedly hurting Hindu sentiments

Ali Abbas Zafar’s web series Tandav has surely kicked hornets’ nest with its controversial scenes that have allegedly hurt Hindu sentiments. Even after issuing an apology, the legal troubles of the web series team does not seem to abate soon.

A fresh FIR has been registered by Mumbai Police under the IPC 153 (A), 295 (A) and IPC 505 against the director, producer and actors of Tandav at Ghatkopar Police Station. The FIR has been registered against Zafar, Himanshu Mehra, Gourav Solanki, Aparna Purohit and Amit Agrawal.

Another FIR has been registered Hazratganj Kotwali in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh against the makers and Amazon Prime Video.
