It was on August 21 that filmmaker Rahul Mittra lodged an FIR with the Delhi Police, complaining against his producer-partner Sunil Bohra in the 2012 film Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster. Mittra had claimed that Bohra had signed an agreement with him and director Tigmanshu Dhulia for the release and distribution of the said movie.

According to the FIR, after the film's successful run at the box office, Bohra pocketed the entire money, apart from selling its digital and music rights surreptitiously with "an intention of misappropriation and to defraud."

Apparently, it was mutually agreed and confirmed by all partners that all income earned by the film shall come to Bohra and then appropriated by all partners equally - with each one receiving 33 percent share of the total amount generated. But Mittra, in his FIR, claimed that Bohra didn't deposit any money in the joint account and stated, "He has usurped and kept the entire amount and caused me a huge loss of Rs 1.83 crore of my hard earned amount..."

Today in a twist of events, Bohra has now alleged that Mittra has been trying to mislead people by filing a complaint in Delhi. He said, "Contrary to media reports, we at Bohra Brothers have filed a complaint against Tigmanshu Dhulia and Rahul Mittra at EOW (Economic Offence Wing) on July 20, and to mislead people and media, they (Tigmanshu and Rahul) have filed the complaint in Delhi. When the contract was signed in Mumbai and it is specially written that’s in event of a dispute, Court of Law Mumbai will be binding on all party’s, then why did he file complain in Delhi?"

Sunil Bohra further claimed to have submitted all expense occurred (sheet) by them to the other party several times and alleged that Rahul Mittra never gave any expense sheet or artist agreement of his money invested.
