Dude, where’s my car: NRI businessman accuses Kim Sharma of cheating

It has been a long while since Kim Sharma was last seen on the big screen.

However, she is currently being seriously pursued – not by prospective filmmakers but apparently by the Mumbai Police!

The Mohabbatein actress has been accused of cheating an NRI businessman and has seized control of his crores-worth Range Rover SUV (Sports Utility Vehicle), a 2012 model, white in color. The police at the Khar police station has registered a case of cheating against Kim Sharma and her husband, Ali Punjani.

According to the case filed by NRI businessman Dilip Parwani at the Khar police station, he has a business abroad. He spends most of his time abroad itself. Occasionally he visits Mumbai. Some years ago, Dilip had apparently bought a Range Rover costing several crores. When he would leave the city to fly abroad, he would leave the SUV in the care of his friend in Mumbai. However, his friend had subsequently informed him that there was no space to park his SUV.

Meanwhile, Dilip Parwani had struck up a friendship with Ali Punjani and his actress wife, Kim Sharma. When Dilip shared with Ali regarding having no space to park his SUV, Ali allegedly told him that he could use the parking spot in his building compound. A few days later, Ali supposedly told Dilip that in order to prevent the car from getting spoiled, he should leave the keys with Kim. Dilip agreed and handed her the keys.

Kim would allegedly use Dilip’s Range Rover in his absence. However, when Dilip returned to the city and would ask for his car, she would apparently make different excuses for not handing over his Range Rover to him.

After several years of trying and failing to get possession of his vehicle, Dilip Parwani has filed a case against Ali and Kim Sharma.

Last year, Kim had hit the headlines when it was revealed that she had filed for a divorce from her husband Ali Punjani, a Kenya national. Her alleged relationship with fashion designer Arjun Khanna had also ended. It had been reported that she was struggling financially and was willing to star in a film without remuneration, as she was desperate to make a comeback.

The police is not taken any action yet and is investigating the case.

The fresh case will doubtless add to Kim’s woes…
