Shahid Kapoor's makeup man James Gladwin has landed himself in trouble. A police complaint has been filed against James by the Cine Costume and Makeup & Hair Dressers Union leader, Sharad Shelar, for sending him threatening messages on Whatsapp.
The Bangur Nagar police arrived at Gladwin's house in Dheeraj Residency, Andheri West, this morning and the makeup man was taken to the police station where a Non-Cognisable complaint was filed against him. An investigation into the complaint is underway.

As per a PeepingMoon.com source, Gladwin was under the influence of alcohol when he sent out threat messages to Sharad. Post this, Sharad along with other union members reached Gladwin's house and informed the Bangur Nagar Police Station about the same.

As seen in the videos (below), Gladwin's behavior with members of the Association appears edgy and agitated. Surprisingly, in the backdrop, a lady member can be overheard saying that Gladwin is banking on Shahid’s backing to get him out of the mess!

Sources claim the reason behind Gladwin’s threats has been his constant disagreements with Sharad's working style.

The makeup man, who was earlier handling Hrithik Roshan, parted ways with that actor due to non-payment of his work in Jodhaa Akbar (2008). Apparently, director Ashutosh Gowariker was due to clear  ₹4 lakh as Gladwin's payment. The makeup man expected Hrithik to either get his payment cleared or intervene and speed up the payment process. But when no such thing happened, Gladwin decided to part ways with him. He was associated with Hrithik since Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai (2001).

Gladwin is currently working Shahid Kapoor on Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus project, Padmavati.
