David Hasselhoff and Pamela Anderson’s iconic beach drama Baywatch heading for a reboot

The popular 90s show Baywatch is getting a reboot. Reportedly, Fremantle has been developing a remake of the classic beach drama series and spoken to various broadcasters and streamers.

There are no creatives attached to the show yet. Baywatch was headlined by David Hasselhoff and Pamela Anderson and made them international celebs. It was created by Michael Berk, Douglas Schwartz and Gregory J. Bonann and followed a group of lifeguards who patrolled LA County beaches.

Baywatch came out in 1989 and ran for 11 years and 13 seasons. It also featured David Charvet, Yasmine Bleeth and Nicole Eggert among others.
