Warner Bros. Discovery has made two big announcements regarding The Conjuring and The Big Bang Theory. On Wednesday, April 12, the studio announced that the Warner Bros. Discovery’s streaming service Max - the soon-to-be-rebranded HBO Max, developing a TV series based on the popular horror franchise, The Conjuring.
Peter Safran and James Wan are set to executive produce the series. No writer is attached to the series and no plot details are out yet but the series will take the story forward from the films. The Conjuring movies centers round paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren played by Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga. The franchise also includes the Annabelle trilogy, The Nun and The Curse of La Llorona.

On the other hand, The Big Bang Theory will see another spin-off series in development after Young Sheldon. It will stream on Max. The Big Bang Theory starred Jim Parsons, Johnny Galecki, Kaley Cuoco, Simon Helberg, Kunal Nayyar, Mayim Bialik and Melissa Rauch.
The Big Bang Theory launched in 2007 and wrapped its run in 2019 after 279 episodes.
