After seven successful seasons Karan Johar is back with his Koffee With Karan Season 8 and after breaking records on the digital platform it seems that this season is expected to be bigger and better than the last one. As per media reports, this season Shah Rukh Khan will be back on the couch. Last year was the first time in seven seasons that SRK couldn’t make it to the show but his absence was compensated by his wife Gauri Khan, who appeared with Maheep Kapoor and Bhavana Panday.
As per a report published in an online portal, KJo has begun preparing for the next season of his show which is expected to go on air in August or September this year. SRK is expected to appear in the first episode of the chat show to discuss the massive success of his film Pathaan. The show will also feature both new and familiar faces.
The reported quoted a source that said, "Stars from the South are now very much a part of the pan-India stardom. Karan Johar will be inviting Yash (of KGF fame), Allu Arjun (of Pushpa fame) and Rishab Shetty (of Kantara fame) with their respective wives." New segments and new décor will be added to the show as well.
On the work front, Karan will be returning as director with his romantic drama Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani after a gap of seven years. The film stars Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan and Shabana Azmi. The film is slated to release in theatres on July 28, 2023.
