Jim Sarbh and Ishwak Singh's Rocket Boys was among the best series to come out in 2022. Now, a year later, the second season of the show is ready for launch on SonyLIV in March. The new teaser of Rocket Boys season 2 was released digitally on Sunday and it gave a glimpse into Dr. Homi Bhabha and Vikram Sarabhai's effort to make India a nuclear nation with the help of a secret test.
The teaser of Rocket Boys 2 highlights tense moments as Indian scientists test a nuclear bomb. With America spying on India, the scientists have to guard the secret test in the best way possible. Dr. Homi Bhabha and Vikram Sarabhai form a team including Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, Dr. Homi Sethna and Dr. Raja Ramanna to help carry out the test.
The first teaser of Rocket Boys 2 was released on August 15, 2022. It gave a hint that the second season of the acclaimed show will revolve around Operation Smiling Buddha, India's first successful nuclear bomb test which was conducted on May 18, 1974.
Created by Nikkhil Advani, Roy Kapur Films, and Emmay Entertainment, Rocket Boys 2 is produced by Siddharth Roy Kapur, Monisha Advani, Madhu Bhojwani, and Nikkhil Advani and directed by Abhay Pannu. The show will also star Arjun Radhakrishnan, Saba Azad, Regina Cassandra, Rajat Kapur, Dibyendu Bhattacharya, Namit Das and others.
