Amrita and Anmol then opened up about trying to have a baby through a surrogate mother. The latter further said that after interviewing the surrogate mother, they went ahead with the process. He recalled the doctor asking him if they were sure about surrogacy since Amrita has a healthy body.

During the process of surrogacy, the doctor called Anmol and said, "The baby has a ‘heartbeat." Anmol revealed that a few days later, they were informed that the baby couldn't survive. After a break, the couple chose to go with IVF. When the first attempt failed, they gave it a try once again. However, nothing worked for them. "Every time the nurse used to come to give me those hormonal shots I used to hate it. They were painless but I used to hate it. After that, I decided not to do IVF again," Amrita shared.

Amrita revealed that when scientific methods failed, they approach an ayurvedic doctor. 'The medicines are very heaty and I was getting all these rashes on my face. Every time I had these my skin used to burst with the rash and I used to tell the doctor that the medicines aren't agreeing with me," she said.

After multiple attempts, Amrita wondered, "Baccha karna chahiye bhi ya nahi (Should we even have a child). Will we be able to bring up babies with the hectic lives we have? Zaroori hai ya nahi." However, in 2020, Amrita felt, "Kuch toh horaha hai yaar." She was finally pregnant with her first child.

Amrita and Anmol welcomed a baby boy named Veer in November 2020.
