Netflix’s Bridgerton Season 2 has been winning hearts ever since it released on March 25. Now, the latest to become its fan is none other than our desi girl, Priyanka Chopra Jonas. Priyanka has been all praise for Bridgerton 2 and penned a note about how she had to face anomaly when she entered Hollywood but things have changed and applauded the series and the makers for doing a wonderful job of showing desi representation through the main characters of Kate Sharma and Edwina Sharma played by Simone Ashley and Charithra Chandran.
Taking to her Instagram stories, Priyanka wrote that she loved the Sharma sisters. She wrote, “I have to say.. it’s so wonderful to see desi representation on mainstream TV. It was such an anomaly when I started. Love the show and the Sharma sisters (sic)."
The second season of Bridgerton follows the pursuits of Anthony Bridgerton (played by Jonathan Bailey) in gaining a wife. Kate Sharma eventually becomes his bride. Recently Simone revealed that she and Jonathan will reprise their roles in Bridgerton 3.
