Dulquer Salmaan’s Salute takes to digital route instead of theatrical release, all set to stream on SonyLIV

Dulquer Salmaan’s upcoming film Salute, which was supposed to hit theatres soon, will now have a direct-to-digital release on SonyLIV. Directed by Rosshan Andrrews, the film sees Dulquer playing a cop. The actor took to social media to announce the film’s heading the OTT way but the release date has not been unveiled yet. Salute's release date has been postponed several times due to Covid-19 pandemic. 

Sharing a poster of Salute, Dulquer wrote, “SonyLIV and Wayfarer films are glad to come together to bring you Dulquer Salman’s #Salute directed by Roshan Andrews and written by Bobby-Sanjay. #SaluteOnSonyLIV #Salute #Dulquer #DQ #SonyLIV @dulQuer @DQsWayfarerFilm #RoshanAndrews #BobbySanjay @DianaPenty.”

Salute also stars Diana Penty, Manoj K Jayan, Lakshmi Gopalaswamy, Saikumar, Vijayakumar, Binny Pappu and Alencier Ley Lopez in supporting roles. The film has been written by writer duo Bobby and Sanjay.

Produced by Dulquer's Wayfarer Films, the film has cinematography by Aslam K Purayil, editing by Sreekar Prasad and music by Jakes Bejoy. It will soon release on SonyLIV.
