The Unforgivable trailer: Sandra Bullock seeks redemption by searching for her estranged sister

Netflix has released its first full trailer for The Unforgivable starring Sandra Bullock in the lead. The film is an adaptation of Sally Wainwright’s 2009 ITV miniseries Unforgiven. Sandra plays ex-convict Ruth Slater, who after serving a sentence for a violent crime is trying to find her estranged younger sister she was forced to leave behind.

However, attempting to re-enter the society is proved more difficult and complicated by a community that is not interested in forgiving and quick to doling out severe judgement over her crime. Her only hope of redemption is to find her younger sister but that quest also proves a lot difficult than what she imagined.
