Mumbai is the city of dreams. People from different corners of the country shift their base to the city in search of jobs, companions and of course, livelihood. While the dazzling lights never fail to amaze us, living a comfortable life in a fast-paced city isn't easy if you are craving love. Highlighting this, renowned directors Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari, Saket Chaudhary and Abhishek Chaubey directed an anthology for Netflix titled Ankahi Kahaniya.
Ankahi Kahaniya stars Abhishek Banerjee, Zoya Hussain, Kunal Kapoor, Nikhil Dwivedi, Palomi, Rinku Rajguru and Delzad Hiwale. The anthology will release on September 17. After sharing the first poster of Ankahi Kahaniya, the makers of the anthology dropped its trailer today. With their unique stories, the actors and filmmakers promise to take us through winding paths of longing and love. Out of all, Abhishek Banerjee's story in which he finds comfort in talking to a mannequin steals the limelight.
Ashwiny directs Abhishek in her short film. The story is written by Piyush Gupta, Shreyas Jain and Nitesh Tiwari. Abhishek Chaubey directs Rinku Rajguru and Dellzad Hiwale in his film based on the Kannada story 'Madhyantara' by Jayant Kaikini. In Saket Chaudhary's short film, Kunal Kapoor, Zoya Hussain, Nikhil Dwivedi and Palomi play the lead. Saket wrote the story with Zeenat Lakhani.
