The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It final trailer- Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson fight demons as they try to prove the devil’s existence in a murder trial

The final trailer of the much-awaited third installement of the Conjuring series, The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It has been released. The film stars Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson as the real-life paranormal experts Lorraine and Ed Warren and revolves around the true murder trial of Arne Johnson, which took place in Connecticut in 1981, touted to be ‘the true case that proved the Devil is real’.

The trailer shows a trial taking place where the defense attorney declines to say in front of a jury that the defendant was possessed by a devil, a long-haired man singing ominously, an exorcism taking place and a spirit assuming the form of Lorraine and hoodwinking Ed.

The film also stars Ruairi O’Connor, Sarah Catherine Hook and Julian Hilliard. It is directed by Michael Chaves while the screenplay is written by David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick. It is based on a story by James Wan and David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick and characters created by Chad Hayes and Carey W. Hayes.

It is produced by James Wan and Peter Safran, who have collaborated on all the Conjuring Universe films. Serving as executive producers are Richard Brener, Dave Neustadter, Victoria Palmeri, Michael Clear, Judson Scott and Michelle Morrissey. The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It will release on June 4 in theatres and on HBO Max.
