Loki trailer: Tom Hiddleston is back as God of Mischief in his standalone series alongside Owen Wilson

The first trailer of the highly-anticipated Marvel Studios series Loki has been unveiled. The two-minute trailer promises a wild-ride with Tom Hiddleston as Loki, God of Mischief in all his glory with some hilarious one-liners from Owen Wilson.

In the trailer, Loki, after absconding with the Tesseract unknowingly lands in a world of trouble with the bureaucratic TVA (Time Variance Authority) where he meets Wilson’s Mobious M Mobius. Mobius needs his help in fixing time and realities because they "need his unique Loki perspective,” and despite taking up his offer, Loki can’t help but demean the entire TVA infrastructure. Despite stabbing people in the back over 50 times, he assures Mobius he can be trusted.

Loki features the God of Mischief as he steps out of the shadow of his brother Thor, God of Thunder’s shadow in a standalone series that takes place after the events of Avengers: Endgame.

The series also stars Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Sophia Di Martino, Wunmi Mosaku and Richard E. Grant. Kate Herron directs Loki, and Michael Waldron is head writer. The series will premiere on Disney+ on June 11.
