Ravi Dubey and Nia Sharma set the screen on fire with their chemistry in the show Jamai Raja. In September last year, the daily soap got a sequel in the form of a web series titled Jamai 2.0. Now, Ravi, Nia and Achint Kaur are all set to take the franchise forward. The team of the Jamai franchise started shooting for its third edition on Monday. The second season of Jamai 2.0 began with a celebration.
Ravi, on Instagram, shared pictures from the first day on Jamai 2.0 Season 2's sets. " ..#beginagain #jamai2point0season2," he captioned the post. In the pictures, Ravi and Nia, who play the roles of Sid and Roshni, posed for the cameras with a clapboard. Achint, who is seen as Durga Devi aka DD, joined the lead pair to cut multiple cakes.
Sharing the pictures, Nia wrote, "Team Jamai2.0 want to thank you all for this beautiful celebration !! A fabulous start to the show. @ravidubey2312 @chintzykaur @ashviniyardi @aarambhhmsingh @cpayal @madhuvannier Virginia, reanna, nirvana, noor, ayat, noor, foram, erika, siti, neni, we all loved the cakes!"
Jamai 2.0 was directed by Shashant Shah and produced by Ashvini Yardi and Payal Chandan. The series also featured Sudhanshu Pandey, Varun Jain, Pratik Dixit and Shehzad Sheikh.
