The anticipation level shot high when the news of Priyanka Chopra Jonas teaming up with filmmaker Robert Rodriguez for his next superhero film titled We Can Be Heroes came out on August 22, 2019. Now, more than a year later, the wait to see Priyanka's character look as come to an end. The global star, on her Instagram profile, shared the first look stills of We Can Be Heroes.
Speaking of Priyanka, the actress looks fierce and sassy in her first look. Walking out of a futuristic laboratory, the actress gives major boss woman vibes in a white shirt, brown leather skirt and a bob hairdo. She has two men in suits walking behind her. "Wohooo! It’s finally here! Presenting the first look for - We Can Be Heroes!!!! It’s directed by the incredible Robert Rodriguez, and is coming to Netflix on New Year’s Day!!! A kids classic. Robert pretty much created this genre of movies. I'm so excited about introducing you to the tangled world of my character. More on this coming soon," Priyanka wrote.
We Can Be Heroes is about an alien invasion and how children on Earth come together to save their parents and loved ones from the impending doom. The Netflix original also stars Christian Slater, YaYa Gosselin, Akira Akbar, Andrew Diaz, Andy Walken, Boyd Holbrook, Hala Finley, Isaiah Russell-Bailey, Lotus Blossom, Lyon Daniels, Nathan Blair, Sung Kang, Vivien Lyra Blair, Adriana Barraza, Christopher McDonald and Pedro Pascal. The film directed by Robert Rodriguez will arrive on Netflix on January 1, 2021.
