Henry Cavill as Geralt of Rivia gets a new armour in the first look of ‘The Witcher 2’

Netflix has just dropped the first look of Henry Cavill as Geralt of Rivia in the highly anticipated second season of The Witcher. Cavill sports new armour in the series which is currently in production as the UK shoot was delayed due to the Coronavirus pandemic shutdown in March.

The streaming giant shared two photos and captioned it as, “New armour, same Witcher. We've just caught a first look at @HenryCavill as Geralt in @WitcherNetflix Season 2 and been SLAYED.” We also get to have a closer look at Cavill’s sword.

The second season of The Witcher is slated to have eight episodes in total and will release in 2021. The Witcher 2 also stars Anya Chalotra (Yennefer) and Freya Allan (Ciri) returning for the second season. Kristopher Hivju has been added to the cast,
