Eros Now has released the teaser of its new original film Halahal. The film stars Barun Sobti, Sachin Khedekar, Vijay Shrivastav and Anuradha Mukherjee. The film is reportedly based on the Vyapam scam that took the country by storm a few years ago.
Halahal teaser’s shows a young girl’s obituary in the newspaper where it is mentioned that she took her own life. However, the teaser later raises questions on her death and highlights that there might be more to her supposed suicide and it might be a case of murder.

Halahal is created and produced by Syed Zeishan Quadri and is directed by Randeep Jha. Vyapam scam was exposed in 2013. The case was linked to the illegal admission of candidates in professional courses and state government jobs in alleged collusion of mafia, officials and political leaders. Although it is based on the Vyapam scam the story is completely fictional. The film is releasing on September 21, 2020 on Eros Now.
