Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, people across the nation are locked inside their homes. With theatres shut, avid cinema watchers are trusting the digital platform for their entertainment. As OTT is becoming a favourite medium of entertainment, Saqib Saleem and Shweta Basu Prasad have collaborated for a feature film that will premiere on ZEE5. Well, yes! Saqib and Shweta will feature opposite each other in the upcoming com-rom film titled Comedy Couple.
Comedy Couple will be directed by Nachiket Samant. The feature film will be produced by Yoodlee Films, the production arm of Saregama India. The first glimpse of Saqib and Shweta from Comedy Couple was unveiled on social media platforms. Renowned trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the picture on his Twitter account and wrote, "ANNOUNCEMENT... #ShwetaBasuPrasad and #SaqibSaleem... #ComedyCouple - a feature film produced by Yoodlee Films [the film production arm of Saregama India] - will premiere on #Zee5... Workwise, Saqib was last seen in Race 3. He is awaiting the release of Kabir Khan's sports drama '83. He will be seen playing the role of former Indian cricketer Mohinder Amarnath in the film that stars Ranveer Singh as Kapil Dev. On the other hand, Shweta featured in ZEE5's Shukranu.
