After releasing the exciting and melodious teaser of Anand Tiwari's directorial Bandish Bandits, Amazon Prime Video dropped in its trailer today. Featuring Ritwik Bhowmik, Shreya Chaudhry, Naseeruddin Shah, Atul Kulkarni, Kunaal Roy Kapur, Sheeba Chaddha and Rajesh Tailang, Bandish Bandits is a 10 episode series premiering on August 4.
The trailer is about Tamanna (Shreya), a pop star with ambitions to make it big in the world of Western music. On the other hand, a Hindustani classical performer, Radhe (Ritwik) is aiming to take the legacy of his Panditji, played by Naseeruddin forward. Tamanna and Radhe belong to different worlds but their paths unite when she asks him to join her for her next song. What follows next is a perfect blend of music, love and emotions. Ritwik and Shreya string together an engaging tale while Naseeruddin and Atul Kulkarni add a punch of twist to the narrative. Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy's music is one of the key highlights.
Bandish Bandits is directed by Anand Tiwari. It is produced and created by Amritpal Singh Bindra. With the exciting original soundtrack, Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy will be making their digital debut. Bandish Bandits will release across 200 countries and territories exclusively on Amazon Prime Video.
