Nikitin Dheer and Kranti Prakash Jha are all set to be seen in a new web show Raktanchal. The gangster drama is based on the real-life events of 80’s Purvanchal, Uttar Pradesh at a time when the state was developing and the development work were distributed through tenders with mines being the coveted gold of every small and big hoodlum.
Nikitin and Kranti are pitted against each other wherein they try to keep the heartland of India under their control. Nikitin plays the role of Waseem Khan, the tender mafia who is challenged by young blood Vijay Singh played by Kranti. The promo of the show largely revolves around their intense rivalry and strife.
Raktanchal promo sees both Nikitin and Kranti as power-hungry and driven by vengeance, brute strength and cunning. Kranti plays a studious man-turned-reluctant gangster whereas Nikitin is the quintessential gangster out to keep his kingdom intact.
Raktanchal will stream on MX player from May 28.
