The trailer of Voot Select’s upcoming web series The Raikar Case has been unveiled. The series is a thriller and has a stellar cast that includes Atul Kulkarni, Neil Bhoopalam, Ashwini Bhave, Parul Gulati, Kunal Karan Kapoor, Reena Wadhwa, Parul Gulati and Lalit Prabhakar. The Raikar Case is directed by Aditya Sarpotdar and is said to be inspired by true events.
The Raikar Case narrates the story of a family that on the surface looks like any normal happy Indian family that stays together but underneath the surface lays a web of deceit, lies, betrayals and dark secrets. Secret and lies are exposed when the youngest member of the family commits suicide – leaving behind a trail of unanswered questions and suspects
Neil Bhoopalam is the investigating police officer who must try to find whether it was murder or suicide. He is aided in his investigation by Parul Gulati. While every Raikar seems to be innocent, everyone has a loophole in their story and alibis. Will the family stand together in the testing time or will they turn against each other and betray themselves as everyone has a motive to kill.
The drama thriller is written by Bijesh Jayarajan and Anaitha Nair and produced by Bodhi Tree Productions. It is scheduled to start streaming from April 9 on Voot Select.
