Flipkart, India's homegrown e-commerce destination, in partnership with producer Guneet Monga's production house, Sikhya Entertainment, released the trailer of their upcoming collaboration- Zindagi inShort, India's first genre-diverse digital anthology of seven short films. A roller-coaster experience, the trailer gives viewers a sneak-peek into the seven bittersweet 'slice-of-life' short films, directed and performed by some of the best talents in the country.
After the success of Backbenchers, Flipkart Video is gearing up to take the audience on an extraordinary ride through short films titled Chhaju Ke Dahi Bhalle, Nano So Phobia, Sunny Side Upar, Swaaha, Pinni, Sleeping Partner and Thappad. Monga has put Indian cinema on the global map by canvassing movies themed on subjects that may have never been attempted before. Now her production house, Sikhya Entertainment is all set to present a genre-fluid anthology, helmed by cinema-sound minds and mostly first-time filmmakers. These films touch upon themes such as standing up for yourself when it's the hardest to do so, online romance, the innocence of childhood, the confusion of old age, the construct of being loved in a marriage, infidelity and a woman owning her role in the family. The short directorials cover different stages of life and promise binge-worthy entertainment for free.

Zindagi inShort stars seasoned actors including Neena Gupta, Shishir Sharma, Sanjay Kapoor, Divya Dutta, Deepak Dobriyal, Swaroop Sampat, digital sensations, Srishti Shrivastava, Nidhi Singh, Rytasha Rathore and Aisha Ahmed; and new-age actors, Nakuul Mehta, Rima Kallingal, Isha Talwar and Manjot Singh. The Flipkart Video Original is spearheaded by directors Punarvasu Naik, Tahira Kashyap, Rakesh Sain, Gautam Govind Sharma, Vijayeta Kumar, Smrutika Panigrahi and Vinay Chawwal. Produced by Sikhya Entertainment for Flipkart Video, Zindagi inShort is slated to stream exclusively on the Flipkart app on the 19th of February 2020.
