Watch: Ekta Kapoor introduces Pooja Gor as 'Vidya Munshi' from The Verdict - State Vs Nanavati in a powerful promo

Recently, the filmmaker introduced one the powerful characters from her upcoming web-series The Verdict - State Vs Nanavati i.e. Pooja Gor as Vidya Munshi. A journalist who had a different perspective on the case. Who fought for woman's choice when the whole nation was pleading for 'A man's honour'.

Vidya Munshi. A fearless female journalist in a male-oriented Indian society of 1959, who voiced concerns on women rights against all taboos of society. When Rustom Karanjia, Owner & Editor of Blitz, decided to shift the conversation from murder to an alleged love affair, she took it upon herself to do journalism right. The producer also appreciated the actor Pooja Gor who essayed the role of a feminist journalist Vidya Munshi.
