How time flies! Actor Avinash Mukherjee who first appeared on the small screen in the hit television show Balika Vadhu is all grown up now and is set to make his comeback with a digital series titled Panchali.
According to our sources, Avinash will star opposite actress Anupriya Goenka in Panchali, which is based on old tradition men sharing one wife due to socio-economic constraints.
The show will stream on the ULLU ap, a fast-growing OTT application which also features the show Halala. Anupriya will be essaying the role of a young and attractive girl named Bhoomi who grows up to marry five brothers. The twist in the tale comes when one of the brothers Kshite, played by Avinash refuses to marry her but is manipulated by Bhoomi to do so.
Anupriya was part of movies like Padmaavat, Tiger Zinda Hai and Dishoom among others while Avinash featured in television shows like Balika Vadhu, Man Mein Hai Visshwas and Sanskaar - Dharohar Apnon Ki. No other detail has been disclosed about Panchali as of now.
