Rehna Hai Terre Dil Mein fame actor Dia Mirza is foraying into the web space with Zee 5 Orginal’s Kaafir alongside Mohit Raina. The internet is buzzing with BTS videos and pictures from the shoot.

The cast of Kaafir has wrapped up the first schedule and has begun the second schedule in Mumbai. Dia who is a vegan, as well as an environmentalist, kick-started her Mumbai schedule on an eco-friendly note.

As per sources, “Dia presented the entire crew with metal water bottles customised with each of their names. An advocate and practitioner of using no single-use-plastic, Dia is leading from the front at the shoot to inspire everyone to follow her steps.”

Speaking about the same, Dia Mirza said, “It is very easy for each of us to make our lives single-use-plastic free, we just have to make the conscious choice to do so. Plastic bottles are the easiest to eliminate so I hope this will be a start for the entire crew to be more aware."

In fact, even during her shoot in Himachal Pradesh, Dia was seen spending time with locals and also continuing her work for the environment through a mountain clean-up programme with an NGO. She was also seen playing basketball in her free time.

Kaafir is set to stream from June.
