Kunaal Roy Kapur is back with a bang in Eros Now’s first original series titled Side Hero. The trailer of the comic series was released on the studio’s website and it is hilarious. Side Hero takes a dig at Kunaal’s acting career and pokes fun at his side hero or supporting actor roles in numerous films like Delhi Belly, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani. Hailing from the famous Roy Kapur family which has elder brother Siddharth Roy Kapur and younger brother Aditya Roy Kapur, Side Hero chronicles the everyday struggle of being almost famous in real and reel life.

Side Hero also stars Konkana Sen Sharma, Shakti Kapoor, Gauahar Khan, Kunal Kamra, Tilottama Shome and Sumeet Vyas. The series is directed by Rohan Sippy. The trailer of the series is really funny as in a scene Gauhar advises Kunaal that he should have removed the ‘Roy’ from his name. The comic series can be watched on Eros Now OTT platform from September 24.

The series chronicles the comic struggles of Kunaal as he tries to make it big in Bollywood but fails miserably time and again. The show will have eight episodes and will showcase Kunaal’s struggle of trying to land a lead role but ending up with a side hero character.
