After producing sex comedy movies like Kya Kool Hai Hum Ekta Kapoor has ventured into erotic horror genre in the webspace. The Ragini MMS franchise that started on the big screen in 2011 with Kainaz Motivala and Raj Kumar Rao has mutated to web series in present time.
The two-minute trailer that released on ALTBalaji’s Youtube channel and App is honestly creepy. Not because of the horror scenes but the sex scenes! The trailer starts with a flashback of haunted house and couples we’ve seen so far. In 2017, the trailer says ‘Fear will enter your bedroom’ while a bikini clad Karishma Shah tries to look inviting to the viewer. Well, we are scared after watching it, and might not leave our bedrooms ever!

The crux of the story is formed by a bunch of college students who choose a secluded house to have some wild time. But they weren’t alone as a ghostly figure haunts them hence they didn't know it was a 'threesome'. Strange events are taking place and two girls set out to solve the mystery. The only way to do that is to get hold of MMS CD.
Well, in the trailer haunting old lady looks right out of Ramsay brother’s movies and failed to scare the audience. Similarly, sex scenes fail to excite. Web series which aren’t censored in India yet could have been a very nice medium to explore the erotic genre and feed the audience who usually resort to western TV series. But Ragini looks like serving cheap thrills in the name of erotica.
The trailer has crossed 12 Million views in a day's time all thanks to Karishma's social media following and Riya Sen's leaked sex scene. Amidst the controversy Riya recently took to social media and busted some rumours about her not being comfortable doing intimate scenes, "I refused to do intimate scenes for a #webseries because I’m married... Dude ! seriously !!! ? #LookingLondonTalkingTokyo,” she posted.
