Bigg Boss 8 contestant Pritam Singh and his wife Amanjot recently got brutally assaulted after they tried to rescue a woman who was being harassed. This incident happened when the couple was driving to their home in Malad and in between they saw four men harassing a woman and her male companion. When Pritam stopped and intervened, the group harassed him and his wife too.
Talking about this incident to us, Pritam said, “Yesterday in the morning, me and my wife were driving back to our home in Malad. I was driving my car very slow and in between, I saw a girl and a man being eve-teased by four men. Initially, they started teasing her and when the boy reacted to it, this group of four men started beating him. I immediately got out of my car and intervened; surprisingly they did not stop. They started abusing me and Amanjot too. They hit the boy with a brick on his head. Guess what; a few minutes later I saw 10 more people joining these goons. They started throwing stones on my car. I tried to struggle for almost one hour to save them. Somehow, I managed to get the girl inside my car and immediately we went to Goregaon police station to file an FIR against them; whereas the boy was immediately rushed to the nearby hospital as he was badly injured.”

Pritam, on his Twitter page, shared about this horrifying incident. He also posted few photos of himself where one can see that he has wounds on his back. He wrote in his tweet, “Incident took place in bangur nagar signal A boy and a girl was brutally beaten up by goons I was passing by I stopped my car and try to help them in that chaos they damaged my car and also hurt me @MumbaiPolice #ShivSena the boy badly hurt admitted to the nearby hospital.”
